The Lord's Prayer embroidery

Of course I can't stop starting something new and I love embroidery projects.  They are so portable, and with summer coming we will be on the road a bit more I think.

So I jumped in to the free Lord's Prayer embroidery project presented by Jenny over at Elephantz.  How wonderful does that look?

So I have been busy picking out my fabric...

I have the title embroidery ready to go...Oh, wait, this post has been sitting in the draft bin and now I have more...

I feel like the fabric is too dark or intense.  Maybe I will say the commitment has been made and I will go with this colour scheme.  What do you think?

New Fabric from New Zealand

My Cousin went to New Zealand to visit a dear friend and in all that bonding time she found time to visit a quilting store.  Just for me.

I feel special.  And look what she brought me back.

New Fabric, Yum!

The new addition to my stash has been washed and folded.  I had a great summer, how about you?

I 'needed' some green for my hexagon quilt but I got a bit carried away...where did all that pink come from...?

Look what's in my mailbox

Oh Boy, oh boy, oh boy oh boy ohboyohboyohboy !!

Those folks at Sew Sisters are pretty prompt.  I love this.  Can you tell that this is the first time I have ordered fabric on the internet.  What great results.
