Baby Toques

Three new babies means knitting baby toques, right?

This one has a tiny pink and purple speck in the yarn.  Very cute and girly.  The purple one in the background was made for a bigger baby head although the patterns claimed they were both for newborns.  Luckily I gave the purple one to the baby that one the size prize.  But every baby is a blessing, right?

Sewing for my Mom - Rainbow table runners

Back in June 2014 my mom gave me a couple of table runner patterns and some strip sets she had made to make the bargello pattern.

Time passes and here we are summer 2015.  But I remembered them and here they are done.  They went together quite well and look grand I think.  When I gave them to her recently she was delighted and we had to clear off the kitchen table and put one on under her pepper and salt and spoon mug...

The backs were nice too and I even found some pre-printed labels to co-ordinate.

Friday finish of Aprons

These aprons turned out so well.

I think the little one is tiny.  My husband wanted to know if it was for a doll.  It is only 13 inches from top to bottom but that is what Melanie asked for...

More Apron posts

I just take a bit of time every day or two and do a little bit on this project...
This is for the littlest girl...sooo cute....

And this is for big sister...

Back to the Little Apron Project

The cuteness continues.  Me being me I have to change up every pattern so these little aprons will be a variation on the one Melanie had in mind.  Shhh, I'll tell her later...
OK, so the parts are cut out exactly like the one I am copying but who knows from here.
