More Socks

Ok, those two needle socks were pretty cute but I still have this favourite pattern made from the book of Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders.

These little footlets are adorable and really quick so I just had to use up some Kroy sock yarn.  It was cool but a bit frustrating as the yarn had no repeat of some of the colours so I couldn't make them match.  I still like the result and I am sure they will keep feet warm.

Knitting, knitting

Well, and looking at knitting books.  Thank goodness for the Library.

I am really stuck on this tank top in Interweave Knits best of .  It is by Sharon Shoji and it is pretty sweet.

I can't resist a pretty lacey bit.  Then the top is stockinette, hmmm....

I've been Knitting a Sweater

I usually buy the Knit Simple magazine when I have the urge for a new project.  Well, this spring I was instantly taken by the first pattern in the magazine.  The lace detail is a honeybee design that I liked instantly.  Here's how mine turned out.

And now for the back....extra cute....

I started it on May 16th and finished a few days ago.  Yeah!  Don't you love finishing things??
