Final Row Along Post

Here's a big thank you to Lori over at Bee in my Bonnet for this amazing quilt.  It was my first link up with the web quilt.  And it worked out great.

Quilting...Quilting....Quilting...


There it is... moved to the dining room table for the big finish.  Then lots of work...The Machingers are marvellous.


Yes more apple-y goodness....


And then the border.  I used a puffy polyester bat so to tame and contain it, I did some straight line sewing to outline areas and then I put on the binding.  It worked well and sure made it easier to get the carcass in and out from under the foot.

The Row Along is Basted

My DH helped me out this morning and we spray basted the layers together on the basement floor.  It worked really well.  Quick too.  Especially with the help.

Row Along still coming along

I think Lori has more rows in the row along but I think I am quitting here.

I thought I would show all my pressed open seams.  I think I will do straight line stitching for the quilting lines so the pressed open seams make a smoother top.

Barn Along Oops

I realized that I hadn't posted about the complete block.  It is 11 " square.
